Improvement and Regeneration Programmes
A significant proportion of the organisation's turnover is also
derived from improvement programmes including Decent Homes funded
projects. These are largely undertaken within a partnering
framework and require an environment in which teamwork and
trust flourish. Our projects include the complete
refurbishment and upgrade of homes, largely within the social
housing sector. In 2007, over 11,000 homes were completely
refurbished and we undertook improvement works to a further 50,000
homes.
Many of the projects are monitored using KPIs relating to cost,
quality and service metrics. This has enabled the organisation to
develop a better understanding of the end users' requirements and
ensure that value is delivered appropriately e.g. balancing cost
and value provision.
