Improvement and Regeneration Programmes
A significant proportion of the organisation's turnover is
derived from improvement programmes including decent Homes funded
projects. These are largely undertaken within a partnering
framework and require an environment in which trust, innovation and
teamwork flourish. These projects include the complete
refurbishment and upgrade of homes, largely within the social
housing sector. In 2006, over 6,500 homes were completely
refurbished and we undertook improvement works to a further 50,000
homes.
Many of the projects are monitored using KPIs relating to both
cost and service dimensions. This has enabled to us to develop a
better understanding of the end users' requirements and ensure that
value is delivered appropriately e.g. balancing cost and value
added.
Ian Williams provides a comprehensive and integrated range of
building services maintenance. We provide a diverse range of
services to councils, schools, universities, public buildings and
external client bodies. The primary function is to deliver an
end-to-end service relating to building services maintenance and
repair including reactive, proactive and planned maintenance
programmes.
We deliver a maintenance service that is tailored to the working
practices and culture of our clients and their staff, and we strive
for the highest standards, aiming to exceed our clients'
expectations rather than just meet them.
Our maintenance services include planned and reactive
maintenance via mobile or resident engineers and an 'in house'
help-desk providing clients with 24 hour / 365 days a year point of
contact, including emergency response.
