Painting services

Ian Williams is one the largest painting contractors in the UK. A large direct workforce of painters and decorators undertake projects that range in value from £5,000 to £5 million. The organisation partnership agreements with three of the UK's largest painting manufacturers and utilises these relationships to develop whole lifecycle cost solutions to its customers. This has led to significant reductions in maintenance cycles.

While we are able to provide painting services, buildings usually require significant repairs prior to the painting starting. Ian Williams also has the skills and ability to coordinate this work, which might include roof repairs, window replacements, external rendering, plasterwork and building modifications.

Much of our painting and repair works are delivered in partnership agreements. Key markets include the public housing and non-housing sectors and our experience ranges from small housing projects to government buildings and universities.

We are also engaged in industrial projects where structures require protection from aggressive environments. Projects have included lighthouses, gas and petroleum facilities as well as infrastructure contracts. These environments require robust Health & Safety and Quality systems.

We've been responsible for a number of high profile projects at Canary Wharf, Heathrow Airport and GCHQ Cheltenham.

Members of the Painting and Decorating Association, we've won many national awards including most recently the PDA 2007 Special Award for Excellence and the Best Project in the Commercial category.

Ian Williams provides a comprehensive and integrated range of building services maintenance. We provide a diverse range of services to councils, schools, universities, public buildings and external client bodies. The primary function is to deliver an end-to-end service relating to building services maintenance and repair including reactive, proactive and planned maintenance programmes.

We deliver a maintenance service that is tailored to the working practices and culture of our clients and their staff, and we strive for the highest standards, aiming to exceed our clients' expectations rather than just meet them.

Our maintenance services include planned and reactive maintenance via mobile or resident engineers and an 'in house' help-desk providing clients with 24 hour / 365 days a year point of contact, including emergency response.
