About the role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join our successful Response Maintenance Business based in Leeds, which specialises in repairs and planned works.

Duties and responsibilities of the Electrician role:

  • Periodic testing, installation works, and response maintenance within Social Housing properties
  • Carrying out testing, fault finding and repairs
  • Using a PDA for scheduled works, and maintaining communication with the line manager on progress
  • Customer facing role

 

Expectations of the successfully appointed Electrician:

  • Qualified with a NVQ level 3 Certificate in Installation and Testing, BS 7671 17th Edition, Part P Electrical Certificate and Testing and Inspection 2394/2395 or 2391
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong commitment to retaining these standards whilst working in the professional environment.
  • Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenant’s homes within Social Housing settings.
  • Motivated in your approach to work, and able to work to individual and team output targets
  • Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role, and access to your own vehicle.
