Coast Sheds Some Light
Our work to maintain a lighthouse at the
Needles, off the Isle of Wight, has hit the small screen.
The
BBC’s Coast programme featured footage of our teams working to
paint the exterior of the lighthouse, which guides ships making
their way up the Solent to Portsmouth and Southampton Water. Our
work on the lighthouse is part of a wider contract with Trinity
House, which exists to ensure the benefit and safety of all
mariners via some 600 navigation aids. The operation is run from
our Plymouth base.
