IT contract helps housing maintenance stay
online
Ian Williams has signed a contract with
Midlands-based Managed Enterprise Technologies - MET - to ensure
its IT services stay online for the next three years.
Ian Williams, which looks after the
maintenance and servicing of buildings for a range of clients
including housing associations and councils, is investing around
£750,000 in the contract over three years.
It means MET, which has customers in the
social housing and construction sectors, will be responsible for
most IT needs for Ian Williams' offices across the country,
including user support, information back-up, disaster recovery,
server maintenance, remote access systems and ensuring systems are
up to date with emerging technologies.
Ian Williams now uses secure remote access and
optimised internal networks which are allowing employees to work as
efficiently as possible from the different offices around the
country and while they are out on the road.
