Makeover for Winchester homes

Winchester City Council homes throughout the Winchester District are to get their redecoration services provided by maintenance specialist Ian Williams after they signed a new deal with the city council.

The five-year contract, worth £350,000 per year, will see Ian Williams visiting more than 2,000 homes in Winchester which are managed by the council.

They will be redecorated externally and in some cases internally as part of ongoing planned maintenance of the properties, working in partnership with Winchester City Council.

Ian Williams is one of the country’s leading property maintenance service providers and already has long-standing partnerships with local authorities in other parts of the country. It has worked previously with the city council in Winchester.

“Winchester City Council has demonstrated its commitment to maintaining its properties to the highest standard,” said John Hooper, business development executive for Ian Williams.

“We have significant experience in fulfilling this type of contract and will do everything possible to minimise disruption to residents. Initially the work will concentrate on the outside of the properties.

“We are delighted to be working with Winchester City Council again and look forward to building a productive partnership with them.”
