Raglan signs 15-year partnership

More than 3,000 tenants across the Midlands and the East of England are set to benefit from a partnering contract with property services expert Ian Williams.

Raglan Housing Association, which manages 10,800 homes across southern England and the Midlands, has awarded Ian Williams a 15-year contract to maintain its homes in and around Leicester and Bedford.

The contract, worth up to £1.65 million a year, will see Ian Williams take responsibility for the maintenance of the homes, including providing a responsive repairs, void property maintenance, gas servicing and breakdown, Decent Homes works, and an out of hours repairs service.

A special customer liaison team will be set up to deliver the contract.

The move demonstrates Raglan’s commitment to engaging high-quality partners and ensuring tenants have the highest possible standard of service.

Mike Turner, development director at Ian Williams, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract. We are very much committed to working long-term with clients to improve standards in social housing, and this 15-year agreement gives us the scope required to do this.

“We look forward to working with Raglan and its tenants.”
