Making Cake Time – and £500 – for Shelter
Ian Williams head office team recently joined
in the ‘Giving is a piece of cake’ fundraising initiative on behalf
of Shelter. Tara Skidmore who organised the event at the Chipping
Sodbury offices commented: “Ian Williams consistently supports
Shelter in its work to raise money for homeless and badly housed
people in Britain. Making Cake Time was an excellent way for our
staff to continue to do this while honing their baking skills! In
addition to the food goodies, we also held a collection for old
mobile phones for which Shelter can claim £5 each. The day finished
with a lot of bursting staff members and a lovely £500 cheque for
Shelter.”
