Following two successful events in Birmingham and Bristol, the Ian Williams team will once again be sharing good practice with industry peers at a free seminar at Cardiff Bay’s St David’s hotel on the 2nd May.
In association with The Health & Safety Executive, City of Cardiff Council and Cardiff University, Ian Williams’ Safety, Health and Environmental Manager Richard Parry will be discussing the Risks and Pitfalls Associated with the Appointment of a Principal Designer.
This is a must-attend event for anyone who needs to understand the legislative landscape, get to grips with what duties can be transferred to a principal contractor and learn what the implications are of appointing a contractor as the principal designer. The session will provide a legislative overview from the HSE as well as a practitioner’s view, including insight into the how the role which was created in 2015, differs from the old CMDc role.
