Proud winners of the prestigious Painting and Decorating Association’s Residential Category Premier Trophy Award

The PDA celebrated its 30th anniversary this summer in London’s Plaisterers’ Hall. This year the award categories increased from five to seven in a bid to represent a broader and more diverse range of the painting industry.

Ian Williams was extremely proud to be able to put forward two entries for their work with Caring Homes and The Point development in Bristol, both within the new ‘Residential Category’. Both projects were highly commended, and the team were delighted when they scooped the prestigious PDA ‘Residential Category’ Award for their work with the Caring Home Group. The award was received by Stuart Rust of the Caring Home Group, Mark Reynolds, and Jamie West of Ian Williams.

Neil Ogilvie, chief executive of the Painting and Decorating Association, said: “The Premier Trophy Awards celebrates the work and achievements of firms and individuals nationally.

“An awful lot of work takes place behind the scenes to make this event a success. There were over 70 entries for this year’s competition which were shortlisted down to 49 for site visits, judging and assessment. Once the shortlist was drawn up, the panel of independent judges visited each project to see the actual work and make their assessments. To come out on top following these rigorous assessments is a sign of excellence.”

Well done team for this wonderful achievement.
