A group of Ian Williams’ apprentices from all over the UK recently came together in Newport, Wales to work on the Central Chambers in the city which is undergoing a total refurbishment. For the apprentices, the first-hand experience they gained working on roof trusses will help them complete their practical portfolios, as well as giving them the opportunity to share their learning and experiences with others who are part of the Ian Williams Academy – winner of the National Housing Maintenance Forum Best Apprentice Scheme 2018.
