Passive Fire Protection

We have a proven track record of passive fire protection works for a wide range of public and private sector customers.

Our directly employed teams provide a competent and accredited service, supported by a network of independent Fire Risk Assessors and rigorous, compliant audit and inspection routines. We can provide advice on specification issues and partner with market leading suppliers to deliver tested solutions. We are certified with International Fire Consultants (IFC) including fire proofing works and fire doors. IFC is a UKAS accredited, internationally recognised provider of high-quality and customer-focussed independent third-party certification committed to 100% compliance.

In the Southeast, we provide annual fire safety programmes, including compartmentation works and fire door-set installations. Our processes are adapted for vulnerable residents, ensuring safe work area segregation and minimal disruption to operations through close client liaison with care staff.

Livability

In the South and Southeast, we carry out fire door replacements, upgrades, and extensive compartmentation works. This includes removing damaged rockwool fire curtains and insulation from roof spaces. Temporary dormers were constructed for safe access during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Disabilities Trust

As part of a larger refurbishment, we installed fire doors in a multi-use area that includes lecture theatres, offices, and study spaces. Our work involved complex mechanical, electrical, demolition, and audiovisual tasks, and we organised a student experience day to familiarise them with the new installations.
