Mohit Basson started at Ian Williams as a Carpentry Apprentice and is now working as a Foreperson. Mohit says,
“Turning my hopes of a career in carpentry into a reality was fulfilled through an apprenticeship at Ian Williams. From day one, my apprenticeship exposed me to the world of construction and the many different elements that need to be combined to deliver a project from start to finish.
“Having worked hard to achieve a Foreperson position at Ian Williams, I take great pride in being a ‘homegrown’ apprentice and how it has shaped me into where I am today.
Imparting all the things that I have learned onto apprentices and seeing them thrive in their field is an incredible thing to be a part of, and I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in now without being an IW apprentice myself! If anyone doubts what you can achieve with an apprenticeship, I hope you take my journey as an indication to go for it and get stuck in!”
