Ian Williams carried out a full refurbishment to Wilson’s Nissan Garage, Epsom. At contract commencement, the works were primarily full decorations. However, on meeting with the client, the CA, the client’s architect and Nissan’s architect on site we agreed that that the scope of works could be developed. The project lasted for 20 weeks and the scope of works was evolving constantly throughout the whole project, right up until 4 weeks from the completion date.
The final range of works; demolition, mechanical & electrical, building, groundworks and roofing. With a large number of trades on site at any one time, a clear programme, reviewed daily was paramount to manage the project effectively. We dedicated an experienced, local site team to facilitate this Following the completion of the garage, we attended a formal grand opening of the car showroom. In addition to the client’s Directors, other guests included Nissan Europe’s directors and the Mayor for Epsom and Ewell, who unveiled the showroom.
