Wales and West Housing 10 year anniversary with Ian Williams celebrated

Ian Williams recently celebrated a landmark ten-year anniversary of collaborative working with Wales & West Housing Association. To mark the occasion and as part of our ongoing commitment to delivering community benefits, the team identified a project at Christchurch Court in Llandrindod Wells and approached the Scheme Manager for the green light.

The outdoor makeover took place over a full working day and involved 6 members of the Ian Williams team, Andy Fudge, Naiomi Beauchamp, Richard Preece, Philip Jones, Jonathan Coombs and Daniel Thomas. The volunteers were assisted throughout the day by several members of Wales & West staff.

The purpose of the makeover was to enhance the side and rear garden area of the court by applying a membrane to ensure minimal future maintenance and helping to keep the weeds at bay, in combination with 12 tonnes of stone which was evenly distributed throughout the garden to complete the cosmetic transformation.

The Scheme Manager expressed her thanks to the team who undertook the work in extremely cold weather conditions. Everybody was glad to celebrate the completion of the community initiative over a hot cup of tea.
