About the role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join our successful Capital Development business based in Plymouth, which specialises in refurbishment projects in Devon and Cornwall.

Duties and responsibilities of the Electrician role:

  • Undertaking installation and maintenance work within the social housing domestic setting, with some electrical testing, covering the Devon and Cornwall areas
  • Customer facing role

 

Expectations of the successfully appointed Electrician role:

  • Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician, or similar professional body (eg. City & Guilds), with either the 17th or 18th Edition certificate, is essential
  • Qualified with the AM2 certificate
  • Qualified with the Test and Inspect qualification is preferable although not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong commitment to retaining these standards whilst working in the professional environment.
  • Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenant’s homes within Social Housing settings.
  • Motivated in your approach to work, and able to work to individual and team output targets
  • Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role, with use of a company van.
