£6million painting contract boost for Ian Williams

Leading property services company Ian Williams has secured more than £6million worth of painting and decorating contracts across the UK within the last three months

 

Ian Williams, one the UK’s largest painting contractors, has won contracts with a variety of new clients in the housing and public sectors.

 

The company, which specialises in the housing, education, commercial and public sector, has struck up partnerships with Phoenix Community Housing, Dudley Metropolitan Council, Curo Group, Origin Housing Association, Wiltshire Council, Powys County Council, Exeter City Council and Shepherd Bush Housing Association.

 

The new contracts will see Ian Williams’ operatives complete work in more than 7,000 homes owned by social housing providers.

 

In north London and Hertfordshire operatives will be completing cyclical decorations to internal and external communal areas of 600 homes per year for Origin Housing over a four-year contract.

 

Work with Exeter City Council will involve Ian Williams’ improving flats at 31 locations across the city to improve the exterior.

 

Elsewhere a five-year contract with Phoenix Community Housing will see Ian Williams paint and decorate 192 homes per year across Bromley and Lewisham.

 

A contract with Shepherds Bush Housing Association for painting and decorating leaseholder properties will last five years.

 

A £1.2million per year contract with Powys County Council will see Ian Williams undertake decoration work, as well as internal improvements and estate and environmental works.

Other recent painting contracts secured by the company include projects with Bristol City Council, CentreParcs, and Four Pillars Hotel Group.

 

The company recently secured the Painting & Decorating Association’s prestigious Commercial Category at the annual Premier Trophy Awards for its project at the Moorland Garden Hotel in Devon.
