Saving a life is just part of the day job for operative David Calland! Whilst working for Anchor Hanover, Dave noticed smoke bellowing from another property on the street. He called the Fire Brigade and assisted the tenant safely out of the property and contained the fire until the emergency services arrived.
Dolan Court Housing Manager said: “Dave Calland has been great today – he managed to get a tenant of ours out of his burning bungalow. His actions have without question saved this man’s life. He also completed a number of jobs securing the property, nothing we asked was too much trouble. We are so grateful, he literally went above and beyond today.
