Today’s World Mental Health Day 2023 is a day to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. It’s also a day to let people know that it’s okay to ask for help, no matter what they’re going through. As part of our ongoing mental health campaigning within the business, today to mark World Mental Health Day, we held a mental health well-being session. Run by Natasha Virgili our own qualified Wellness Coach, this first course of several, looked at the role of meditation, work life balance, managing stress and anxiety and the value of wellbeing checklists.
This is just one of the initiatives we will be running over coming months. In collaboration with our Charity of the Year Mind “Mental Health and how to support someone” training is being rolled out across the business to help Managers to support their teams by developing an real understanding of mental health, with practical guidance on how to support those who may be struggling.
Today is also National Porridge Day, and as such a healthy way to start the day, we through we’d celebrate this too alongside our other planned activities!
