What attracted you to Painting & Decorating?
I wanted to do something active in my work and I’ve loved painting rooms at home, so it made sense.
Why did you choose an apprenticeship?
I’ve also thought it’s important to learn a trade and I also wanted to start earning my own money.
What do you love most about your job?
Basically I’m really happy working at Ian Williams and I love working with my team and enjoy the on site working and getting on together.
What two things have you learned since the start of your apprenticeship?
1 – Skills wise, I’ve learned how to apply lining to walls – I really enjoyed it!
2 – I’ve learned how to take feedback positively.
Where do you want your career to take you?
I’d like to finish my apprenticeship as quickly as I can and look into being a foreperson and run my own projects for Ian Williams.
