As the UK approaches National Apprenticeship Week, which runs from March 4th to 8th, we’re delighted to announce that three Ian Williams’ apprentices have made it through to the Plymouth Trade Construction Apprentice of the Year. Congratulations to Dan Rayner, Jonathan Cook and Mitchell Arnott. The awards seek to acknowledge and celebrate individual apprentices’ exceptional contribution to their workplace and recognise their commitment to the apprenticeship experience.

Jo Down, Academy Officer at Ian Williams comments: “What a brilliant achievement and a fantastic way to start the NAW celebrations, which are designed to show what a positive impact apprenticeships have on the individuals undertaking them, and on the wider economy. People like Dan, Jonathan and Mitchell are real assets to our company and seeing them develop is really rewarding. We’ll all have our fingers crossed for the ceremony on 9th March at Plymouth Guildhall.”

Jo concludes: “We look forward to sharing this news of their success at our NAW Qualification Celebration lunch next week. Now in its third year, the event which is attended by around 50 people, celebrates our apprentice, trainee and staff achievers and recognises the vital contribution they make to the business.”
