Creating a garden at Queen Elizabeth Court

A perfect example of helping out our local communities – creating a beautiful outdoor seating area from a redundant space.

The Ian Williams Birmingham team recently offered to complete a make-over on behalf of our customer Anchor Hanover on one their schemes, Queen Elizabeth Court in Birmingham. Until now, with the garden on sloping ground, residents have not had an outdoor seating area. We spotted the chance to makeover some ground next to the pathway by removing a brick planter, laying down slabs and installing artificial grass. The space is now complete with an 8-seater bench, fire pit and chiminea donated by us. The residents are over the moon!

Thanks to IW operative Wesley Griffin for managing the project and Range Cleaning Ltd for removing waste free of charge.
