This year our chosen charity is Mind and in support, our Digital Transformation Manager Paul Claydon has taken it upon himself to ‘brave the shave’. He pledged to shave off the beard he has been sporting for 10 years to raise money and awareness for Mind and the work they do, offering advice and support to anyone experiencing mental health issues. Mind also campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health issues. Paul says his beard was very much part of his identity and his family were fans of it too, so we’re so proud of him for being willing to lose it for a good cause. Paul also says “Mental health is something that affects us all, directly or indirectly. I have seen the impact of mental health problems on some of my loved ones, and I know how hard it can be to cope and seek help. That’s why I wanted to do something to help ‘Mind’ continue their amazing work and make a difference to the lives of millions of people. What a change – well done Paul.
