Ian Williams Ltd is delighted to announce it has achieved the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety for an impressive 9th consecutive year. Now in its 61st year, the annual scheme recognises excellence in overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Richard Parry, Safety, Health and Environmental Manager for Ian Williams comments: “Firstly, huge congratulations to the entire team who have achieved this success. It’s a terrific accomplishment and an endorsement of the entire organisation’s commitment to safe working. Achieving this for the 9th year in parallel to gaining IIP Gold 2017 too, proves that Ian Williams is not only a great place to work, but also a very safe one. We’re focussed on consistently delivering what our customers need when they need it, but we don’t cut corners to do it and this award is testament to that.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat. This is a special year in the history of RoSPA, and we congratulate all of our winners in this, our centenary year.
