Last week, two of our Apprentices, Elizabeth Horler Rhyme and Mollie Platts travelled to Ljubljana, Slovenia with The Painting and Decorating Association.
Elizabeth and Mollie, joined a team of 120 Painters and Apprentices across Europe to participate in a Humanitarian Repaint project in a local junior school.
The team painted 15 huge and high-ceilinged classrooms within 8 hours!
Igor Pipan, Director of the Slovenian Chamber of Craft and Small Business & Painter Association, said,
“Because of your help, this year’s campaign was one of the most successful so far!”
“With this year’s campaign, we have surpassed several milestones, as this has become the largest campaign of painters not only in Slovenia but also in Europe. All of the participating painters have promised to return.”
