Ian Williams’ Exec Director invited to join the Association of Residential Managing Agents advisory board

Ian Williams’ Executive Director Mike Turner has been invited to join the expert panel advisory board of Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) to share best practice and give advice relating to property services, in recognition of the valuable experience Ian Williams can offer.

ARMA is the leading trade association for residential leasehold managing agents in England and Wales, and works to promote the highest standards of leasehold management and professionalism across essential managing agent services. Mike will join the multi-disciplinary expert panel consisting of specialists in legal, commercial, legislative, employment fields, all working together to promote best practice and advise members.

Mike comments: “Knowledge transfer and supply chain partnering play a vital role in the delivery of the highest possible levels of customer service in property management to leaseholders and we’re proud to be associated with ARMA members who are at the forefront of this approach. Ian Williams has already collaborated on projects surrounding the complex area of the Construction Design and Management Regulations and the challenges surrounding painting and cyclical decoration.

“The types of buildings ARMA members manage can vary enormously in size and style; some are new build tower blocks, some are converted houses and others are purpose built mansion blocks dating back to the Twenties and Thirties and represents the management of 50,000 developments and one million homes. With our roots firmly lying in the proactive and reactive property services arena, across hundreds of thousands of homes, we hope that we will be able to offer a strong contribution.”

Lisa Warren from ARMA commented on Mike’s appointment: “We are delighted to offer Mike a position on the panel as we feel that the combination of Ian Williams’ existing work as an ARMA partner, involvement with other industry panels and a business that provides wide spread services to agents, will be a great benefit to our members.”
