Ian Williams mobilises new responsive repairs and voids contract for Staffs Housing – in a joint mission to continue to provide the region with quality homes
Ian Williams, one of the UK’s largest independently-owned property services companies, has started work on a new £multi-million responsive repairs and voids contract with leading housing provider Staffs Housing for potentially the next 5 years. Sharing values with the ultimate objective of creating quality, affordable homes, the two organisations are embarking on what they both describe as a programme not only of home repairs and bringing empty properties back to life, but one that goes beyond the bricks and mortar to the people inside.

Our directly-employed responsive and emergency repairs and maintenance teams undertake more than 300,000 visits a year, responding to faults like leaks, heating, security and window and door problems. Fully managed and delivered by our mobile asset management system iwsys, and supported through a dedicated help desk, iwhub, we have huge experience and skills in ‘first-time’ repairs and improving key to key times.
