Our painting team recently attended a training day hosted by Crown at their decorating centre in Swansea. Our Foremen and Apprentice used the new Crown ‘Fast Flow’ undercoat, gloss and ‘Sadolin Beautiflex’ products. The team learned how to prepare the product correctly by following the specified paint system and were shown the benefits of choosing the right brush to apply the product in various ways.
With over 100 years of painting experience across the painting team members, it was interesting to discuss the use of various Crown products that have been used on recent projects and how in line with greater awareness for the wider environment and regulations, chemical changes have taken place in painting products and behaviours.
Our operatives Huw Davies, Matthew Williams, Wayne Morgan, Ken Mackay and apprentice Ethan Evans recognise the huge benefit of ongoing training and development and would like to thank Crown Paints and their trainer Kevin O’Donnell for organising such a valuable event.
