Mike Turner, Ian Williams’ Executive Director has been invited to speak at the upcoming ISBA Health & Safety Conference in September.
Mike Turner comments: “The Independent Schools’ Bursars Association (ISBA) supports and advises the bursars and senior management staff of more than 1000 independent schools across the UK and overseas. As much of the work we carry out is in the education sector, we have worked with ISBA on conferences since 2008 and this year we were also invited to exhibit at the annual conference in May.
“Being involved with ISBA gives Ian Williams opportunity to demonstrate the broad range of asset management services we offer, including maintenance, refurbishment and repairs, and highlight the benefits of partnering with a supplier who is experienced in working in this specialist sector.
“The aim of the conference is to promote a positive health and safety culture, something we entirely endorse. Legal challenges and risk management will also be covered. I will be focusing on the health and safety considerations and issues to be addressed when a contractor is working on site.”
Ian Williams is well placed to give this presentation thanks to having achieved the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety for 9 consecutive years.
