Principal Designer Seminar Heads to Birmingham

Earlier this year, in conjunction with the Health & Safety Executive, Ian Williams hosted a series of seminars on The Risks and Pitfalls Associated with the Appointment of a Principal Designer. Following the success of these events, a fourth seminar is announced to take place in January in Birmingham.

These seminars are free to attend and along with Tony Mitchell from HSE and other guest speakers, the Ian Williams team will once again be sharing good practice and offering insight into working practices. This is a must-attend event for anyone who needs to understand the legislative landscape, get to grips with what duties can be transferred to a principal contractor and learn what the implications are of appointing a contractor as the principal designer. The session will provide a legislative overview from the HSE as well as a practitioner’s view, including insight into the how the role which was created in 2015, differs from the old CMD role.
