Returning to work safely across the UK
Our painting and decorating teams continue to return to work safely across the country. As we all adapt to the ‘new normal’ this period is providing a unique opportunity to consider how properties like schools, university accommodation, offices or leisure facilities can be recommissioned and enhanced. After a long period where facilities have remained closed now is a great time to complete work before they become occupied.
Just one of the painting projects we’re safely back to work on, a 9 week internal redecoration programme for DeMontfort University.
It’s not just our painting teams who are safely back to work. Here’s a lovely endorsement from a Teign Housing resident thanking one of our electricians Mike. “I would just like to say thankyou for coming out to mend my shower. I’m in the COVID-19 high risk category and have been in isolation from day one, so I was more than a little anxious about someone coming into my home. But straight away he put my mind at ease. He wore a mask and gloves, sprayed everything he touched before and after. He was such a polite young man and a credit you to all. I can’t recommend him enough.”
Our operatives Paul Brady and Dean Triggs should be very proud after receiving the following feedback from this Waverley Borough Council resident. “Last week we called out of hours for my mum in Godalming and I just needed to pass on her thanks. She said the two workmen that turned up to deal with a leak and do electric checks were brilliant and very helpful. We were all so relieved that they attended really quickly. Just thought I should pass this on as know how uplifting it is to get positive feedback. I personally would like to pass thanks on to those who dealt with the situation as my mum was in such a state and because of the current COVID-19 situation I could only reassure her over the phone. When I spoke to her after they had been, she was so much more relaxed.”
And finally some lovely feedback from a Teign Housing resident: “I am calling to say how grateful I am to Josh, Steve and the whole team for helping me today. My shower developed problems this morning so I called in immediately to ask for help as my husband is disabled and without a shower, we would have found things very difficult. From my first call to the repair itself, everything happened quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much; I really appreciate your service.”
