Wowed by the end result

With a return to school and healthy learning spaces in the headlines, a recent extension we carried out at Ashford St Mary’s Primary will hopefully help this one school get fully back up and running safely and effectively when it can.

Extending two classrooms and creating a shared space for learning and play, works included constructing new stud walls and ceilings, creating new doorways by repurposing existing doors and electrical works which were all integrated into St Mary’s current building management system, comprising the installation of new heating, upgrading lighting to LED, and TV and internet equipment for teaching.

Rob Steatham, Site Manager for Ashford St Mary’s Primary School commented: “I found the whole Ian Williams team very professional and proactive in their approach to the project. This was from the quoting stages through to acceptance and the actual building works themselves. The team managed the site effectively and safely by adhering to all personal protective equipment and permit requirements. Any concerns I may have had were handled very well and resolved quickly by the site foreperson and my main contact John.

“Overall, the finish and lead times were of an excellent standard and both the senior leadership team here at St Mary’s school and all the teaching staff were “wowed” by the finished result.”
