Ian Williams is completely committed to investing back into the communities in which we live and work through employment, training and community projects. We established the Ian Williams Foundation, an employee led initiative, to manage the significant investment we make each year to improve the lives of everyone within the areas we work.
We are an industry leader in the provision of apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities and our Academy has won countless national awards for its innovative approach to training. Many of our apprentices today will continue to progress their careers with us such that they become our managers of the future.
Ian Williams also integrates its social value investment with its customers to provide opportunities for local employment, training, community support, health and wellbeing as well as charitable projects.
Most of our work is carried out in homes that are occupied. We have a deep understanding of the many different cultures and values that our employees may encounter whilst carrying out their work. We provide specialist training at the Ian Williams Academy, for example in working with vulnerable residents and equality & diversity.
Ian Williams is registered as a ‘Dementia Friendly’ organisation and many of our response staff have undergone training to become ‘Dementia Friends’.
