Our quality and service excellence has been recognised by over 55 Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) Awards and we are a member of PDA’s Paint Green sustainability initiative. We remain at the forefront of the sector through implementing the latest innovations in products and applications, underpinned by partnership agreements with the UK’s leading paint manufacturers. We co-ordinate cyclical and single project decorations with other internal and external works including roof repairs, window replacements, external rendering and plasterwork. The world of paint and coatings is fast moving and dynamic and our highly skilled, directly employed workforce of painters and decorators undertake top level training and development programmes.

Case Studies

We revitalised an original tyre factory in Erdington, Birmingham, with specialist weather shield products, transforming its faded blue facade. Easily visible from the M6, it stands renewed and vibrant.

Eton College’s painting and repairs programme, executed in a live environment, involved a custom heritage colour booklet. We received accolades in the Painting and Decorating Association awards, winning the Commercial category and receiving Highly Commended over the years.

Ian Williams delivers cyclical decorations for residential housing in Kent, Sussex, and Southeast London. Their customer-centric approach includes collaborative working groups with other Hyde contractors, optimising contract efficiencies and sharing scaffolding costs.

UPP

In Riverside’s Liverpool City Region, we perform cyclical decorations, repairs, and minor planned works on occupied properties. Our scope includes windows, facias/soffits, Class-O coatings, flooring, and general glazing/metalwork. We prioritise cost-effective specifications without compromising quality or budgetary constraints.

We repair and redecorate inland and offshore lighthouses, including heritage sites, using specialised products and specially trained teams. Our work has earned multiple Painting and Decorating Association awards, including Industrial Category Winner and Supreme Winner 2022.

Trinity House

We conducted precise internal redecorations for the Grade II listed Main Hall and Banqueting Suite. Challenges included intricate details, high ceilings requiring internal scaffolding, weight limitations, non-moveable lighting rigs, and coordinating the works with the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and an ongoing event within the building.

Dudley Town Hall

The Marsh Mills Footbridge spans a river and busy road into Plymouth, providing crucial local community access to amenities, which all caused key challenges that our teams effectively navigated the painting and preparation works. It received a Highly Commended award from the Painting and Decorating Association.
