The Ian Williams Foundation has donated £1032 to BUST Bristol, the Breast Cancer Unit Support Trust at Southmead Hospital. Our Head Office Christmas raffle raised an amazing £516 which was matched by the Ian Williams Foundation.
The Bristol based charity founded by patients for patients to support the work of the Bristol Breast Care Centre at Southmead Hospital is raising money to fund an MRI scanner for the Centre as well as other medical equipment.
The nomination to donate to BUST was made by Commercial Administrator, Michelle Robinson, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2019. After waiting 3 weeks for her own scan, Michelle is acutely aware of the importance of reduced patient waiting times that will result from the dedicated MRI scanner.
Jackie Pask from BUST Bristol dropped by the office and took the opportunity to thank Michelle personally.
