In the last of our spotlights on projects recognised in the PDA Trophy Awards 2023, we go to the beautiful architecture of Bath and Curo’s Cumberland House in Norfolk Crescent.
The Painting and Decorating Association awarded our teams a Very Highly Commended on the works carried out on this beautiful Grade II listed building that provides a mix of tenures. In partnership with AkzoNobel, the works involved multiple workstreams including provision of fixed scaffolding, Bath Stone cleaning, re-pointing, window and door repairs, roofing works, installation of cast iron rainwater goods and extensive external redecorations. Meticulous planning was required to remain sympathetic to the heritage status and, at the same time, engaging with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
