Sometimes, our specialist teams are called on to work on something a little bit different and were recently appointed by St Monica Trust to redecorate a Train Carriage Roof that’s part of their museum display in Sandford. The existing paint on the train roof was failing as it was reacting with the zinc in the galvanized train roof in a process called saponification. So we worked with Maker Coating Systems Ltd to provide a bespoke specification and application – what a transformation!
