This is certainly the case for the Ward family, who have given us over 60 years of combined service to date.
Alan Ward began his career with Ian Williams as a painter 42 years ago. Keeping it in the family, our ‘Mentor of the Year’ Ashley Ward followed in his dad’s footsteps and joined us as an apprentice painter at the age of 16. You can imagine how delighted we were to recently host Ashley’s Daughter Megan for a week’s work experience placement within our Plymouth business support team.
We recognise that our people and their development and retention are key to Ian Williams’ continuing success, and this story about the Ward family is a perfect reflection of our brand aspirations.
