As the UK starts to emerge from one of the most testing times in modern history, we take the opportunity in this issue of Review, to look at lessons we’ve learned collectively that we can take with us for more resilience in the new normal.
We celebrate the amazing achievements of our teams across the UK who have gone above and beyond to support their communities and continued to work on the frontline during the Pandemic.
With photos, videos and case studies, we look at the changing drivers in the different markets in which we operate and our Executive Director Mike Turner discusses the Service Value Chain.
Finally, we’re asking for your support during our 75-year anniversary celebrations. To mark this three-quarters of a century milestone, we’re currently embarking on a company-wide challenge – IW75 in 75 Mission – to raise £75,000 for the More Than Homes Campaign on behalf of foodbank charity The Trussell Trust.
Exacerbated by COVID, we’re all acutely aware of the challenges around poverty, but for many, this has meant going without even the most basic things like having food on the table. Our birthday celebrations will see Ian Williams playing our part as we embark on a virtual mission around the globe to raise a fitting target of £75,000 for this fantastic cause, which will be the single biggest commitment to More Than Homes do date.
But we need your support. However large or small, please sponsor us to help hit our fundraising target and help end the need for the UK’s foodbanks.
We hope you enjoy this issue.
