Apprentice Scheme

Ian Williams commits to apprentices making up 10% of our operational workforce.

The Academy Apprenticeship Scheme is an industry-leading programme to attract, retain, train and develop apprentices, providing a long term, sustainable workforce that is flourishing with healthy, productive careers.  Many of our apprentices progress on to long careers with Ian Williams.

Much of our training enables our employees to gain NVQ qualifications through on the job training which forms a large part of our apprenticeship scheme. From day one your time will be split between on-the-job training and working on live projects.  You will learn all the skills needed for a bright future in our growing company, visiting properties and sites to carry out their painting, maintenance repairs and refurbishment needs, depending on the trade you choose to specialise in.

For the rest of the week, they spend time building their NVQ portfolio taking photos, videos and writing about how they achieve each milestone.
